Tattoo Marker

In addition to their Forearm tattoo , which appear automatically when the person turns fifteen years old, some people choose to get other, purely decorative tattoos.

The most common way of getting such a tattoo is to get a friend to draw it with a special marker, and then the person’s Nano-bots apply the tattoo where there’s ink from the marker.

The tattoo marker looks like a normal marker, where size and shape is concerned. It’s all black, including the felt tip. This throws first time users of the marker, as the ink comes out blue when you draw on the skin. If you make a mistake, you can erase it as easily as a whiteboard, and correct the design as much as you like and and need to. When you’re satisfied you put the cap back on the marker and your nano-bots go to work tattooing where there’s in from the marker, and that’s when the design turns black.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The blue ink in the marker contains a substance from a plant that is indigenous to Tantalus Prime which is harmless to human skin, but which the Nano-bots inside the body can home in on a prepare themselves to create a tattoo where the ink is. When the cap is put back on the marker, it completes a circuit, that then signals the nano-bots to go to work.

With these tattoos, is there a way to get them removed, or once they're there are they there for good?

They should be able to be removed. It’s just that it’s as painful as getting the tattoo. Also, I will be adding more stuff on how the marker works. Like, you can erase and change the design before it becomes permanent, it only starts becoming a tattoo when you put the cap back on the marker.
