Tantalus Prime
One of the three founding planets of the Trident Coalition. While Prometheus is home to the administrative branches of the Coalition government, Sisyphus Prime has the Trident Coalition Armed Forces, Tantalus is home to the Judicial branch, and all the best lawyers are from here.
The Tantalusians are friendly, mostly, but their dialect makes them hard to understand sometimes. The weird thing about their dialect is that when a Tantalusian downloads knowledge of the English language into their brains, for a visit to Earth, they sound Scottish. Not only that, but their dialect is to Galactic Common what Scottish is to English. They also have a great number of idiomatic expressions that only they understand, and they like it that way. When I said that they're friendly, that is as long as they don't catch non-Tantalusians trying to imitate their dialect or use their idiomatic expressions.

Tantalus Prime is also home to that bird, the Volcano Phoenix, a creature that many believed was mythological, until paleontologists found fossilized remains of what may have been a Volcano Phoenix, though the debate whether it really is one of those birds, runs heated.
