Star in a Jar Fusion Reactor

These reactors consist of a containment system for a miniature star, and come in many different sizes, from a small, portable unit that you might bring on a camping trip, to the biggest, Q-type reactor which takes up an entire city block and also power giant cities like Aeolus City with power to spare. The mid range size reactors powers the Kerberos Class ships of the Trident Coalition Space Fleet.

The small, portable reactors are sold in the local hardware stores, while the large ones require training to operate.
