Ewan Rex Duarte

Ewan grew up Aerope on Menelaus and shortly after his Age of Consent Ritual and graduation he took a job aboard a space freighter, where he showed an aptitude for navigation and piloting. By the age of nineteen his captain was retiring and saw Ewan as the most qualified to succeed him as captain. Unfortunately some of his crew mates weren't too happy about this, as it meant that they were passed over for promotion.

While at the local Council Chambers of Tyndareus Ewan was arrested, interrogated and accused of being a clone of a notorious insurrection leader who died a century earlier. Ewan was sent to prison, without a trial even, and during an attempted prison break for him he was killed and buried in a cave-in in the mine where the prisoners were used as forced labor. Reports that his consciousness was transferred to a clone body aboard a ship of smugglers and outlaws has not been reliably confirmed or disproven.
