While he's the first, and most famous Space Marshal, little is actually known about Blast Bolton. Even his name is a pseudonym, to protect his family. That he was married to a famous actor was counterproductive to the pseudonym, but there are no records of any issues that arose from that.

The few known facts about Blast Bolton is what's in the graphic novels about his exploits. Most people believe that the graphic novels means that Blast Bolton never existed, that he's just a fictional comic book character, and if he did exist he died a very long time ago. A few people, including Calvin Keller, claims to have met Blast Bolton, suggesting that he has visited the Coalition on multiple occasions over nearly three millennia. The people who make these claims usually talk about Super Luminous travel and time dilation as being the reason that Blast Bolton is alive and only look like he’s little more than 30 years old.
