Laufey
King Laufey
Laufey was the King of Jotunheim, and the biological father of Loki.
While attempting to start a second war between Jotunheim and Asgard, Laufey was approached by Loki who offered them a way of murdering the All-Father Odin, only for Loki to betray and kill Laufey before then attempting to wipe out the entire race of Frost Giants.

Personal history
King Laufey was the leader of the Giants of Jotunheim. They were married to Farbauti, with whom they had a child (lated named Loki). As Loki was born small, his existence was kept a secret. Farbauti died the day after the birth, and it is possible that Laufey murdered them in order to conceal the birth.
Laufey lead the Jotun forces against Odin and Hela during the Conquest of the Nine Realms, however they were defeated and Jotunheim was forcibly annexed into the Asgardian Empire. In the aftermarth of the battle, Odin found the infant Loki abandonned and chose to adopt him.
Although Laufey was able to keep their throne, they greatly resented the Asgardian dominance over Jotunheim, and agreed to assist Loki (unaware that he was their son) in his plan to halt Thor's coronation.
They were killed by their son during the Assault on Jotunheim, and were succeeded as king by Skrymir.
