Rubbleden

Officially referred to as simply "Workforce Habitation", Rubbleden is a sprawling shanty-town along the eastern side of Akavel that is home to the Subrim, the lowest caste in Imperial society. Located downwind of the Ironglow Smelters smokestacks, this district sits on the ruins of what were once important Yerendi civic buildings. Only a few of those buildings remain standing now, any hints of their former heritage stripped away or defaced.

It has a reputation for being unsafe and it is rare for non-Subrim to chance entering these areas; even the Enforcers are afraid to enter this area unless they enter in force. But the subrim look after their own, and for them these streets are perhaps the safest places in Akavel.
