Personal history
Jeakke and her twin sister Nevve were born into a family of weaponsmiths, but it was Jeakke that loved weapons. However, she had no dreams of being a blacksmith - instead, she wished to wield all the different kinds of weapons the realms had to offer. So when she reached adolescence, she set out to join a band of mercenaries headed for other realms. Her sister Nevve remained behind - honing her skills by learning from their parents.
As Jeakke traveled through other realms, she saw incredible weaponry - and she longed to try using all of them. But most of these weapons were too small for her, and Jeakke assumed she was doomed to admire them from afar. Until she received her first weapon from Nevve - her sister, reading her longing in letters, began traveling to other realms as well, finding masters to learn their smithing techniques and create the weapons her twin longed for.
Jeakke was a natural - she learned weaponry as easily as she breathed, and never grew tired of finding new skills. Eventually, her skills caught the attention of a band of Beast Hunters -a noble profession in the Demon Realm, which Jeakke was happy to join after her eight centuries of mercenary work. It was in this band she met her wife, Emedao - a hunter from a long line of hunters with survival skills and experience to match Jeakke's endless thirst and natural talent. It was love at first hunt for the pair, and they married only a decade after meeting.
They married in Jeakke's hometown, as Emedao had no permanent home. Their families were both overjoyed at the match, easily able to see how much they cared for each other. Nevve, as was her habit, made the pair matching weapons as a wedding gift - a great hammer for Emedao and dual swords for Jeakke. And after only a century together, they had their son - Jurao.
At this time, Jeakke and Nevve had a falling out - Nevve believed beast hunting was too dangerous with a child in tow, while Jeakke pointed out Emedao had grown up in a hunting band. The pair ceased sending each other letters, though Nevve did send a traditional First Decade gift to her nephew.
It was only a few years after this that Jeakke and Emedao, unfortunately, died fighting an Ice Shriek that attacked their hunting band's camp at night after the watchman fell asleep.

Mannerisms
After being told as a child that she appeared mean when she didn't smile, Jeakke developed a habit of constantly smiling. Only with close friends and family did she feel comfortable letting her expression drop.
