Personal history
Amalia was frail from the time she was born - though as the daughter of a Duke, this wasn't as much of a hardship for her as it was for others. She was able to spend her days restfully, often reading or doing small handicrafts. She was betrothed to the future king of her nation, Ebener, when they were both children. They spent a lot of time together growing up because of this, and grew to be great friends. So when they married as young adults, it was a very happy ocassion for both of them.
And when their first child was born, Amalia felt heartened that they were the loudest baby the midwife had ever heard. Unfortunately, the birth caused Amalia to weaken further, and only a few years after the birth of her child, she died from illness.
