Tom Stoutly
Tom Stoutly is a human man and one of the two leaders of the Saltmarsh militia, the Mariners. He is married to the Mariner's co-leader Will.
While his husband Will is a staunch Traditionalists in town politics, vocally opposed to their rival Emberists, Tom is more apathetic, believing that the growing Neveren influence is inevitable.
Tom and Will both fought in the Battle of the Spire with the rest of the Dunwater Alliance in 1496 during the Banesmark Crisis. Tom and Will's marriage also grew strained during the later half of 1496, when Will, under the influence of a Banesmark, became more violent in his rhetoric against Neverwinter. However, the Banesmark was removed at the beginning of 1497 by the Blackstaves, and the two have reconcilled.
Following Necian Arrzen's leave of absence from his position in the Saltmarsh Town Council, Tom won the special election held to fill his position.
