Kadesh

Kadesh is the only true planet of Gardenspace. It is a huge terrestrial world filled with lush jungles and forests and dominated by megaflora and megafauna.

Climate

Most of Kadesh is covered in tropical or temperate forests, with scatterings of deserts and mountain ranges. Both of its poles are cooler, but do not reach the freezing temperatures typically seen on most planets.

Fauna & Flora

Beyond the massive plants and non-sentient animals that tower over most humanoid visitors, the planet is largely controlled by the braxat, a species of hulking, carnivorous, dinosaur-folk.

History

In the late 12th century, the braxat of Kadesh began venturing into wildspace through the repurposing of spelljamming technology that had fallen to their planet. Due to their massive size, the air envelopes of nearly all spelljammers couldn't support the braxat for extended periods of time, requiring a series of bases to be established on the varoious living planetoids of Gardenspace.
In 1485, the Battle of Gardenspace between the Scro and Imperial Elven Navy resulted in the ruins of over one hundred spelljammers to begin drifting around Gardenspace. Many of these wreckages were pulled into the gravity plane's of the planetoids of Gardenspace and Kadesh. Some wreckagese were recovered by braxat while others were buried or lost. The lure of these wreckages has continued to draw adventurers and fortune seekers to brave Kadesh's brutally unforgiving jungles on the off chance they could be found.
