Social Structure
Braxats typically are found in a tribal society, with each tribe composed of between 20 and 80 members. Each year, ritual contests are held between all braxat aspiring to lead the tribe to determine that year's leader.
Most outsiders view braxat are brutish, evil barbarians that hold little respect for diminutive outsiders. The few that have managed to observe braxat rituals and intraspecies relations have noted their complexity, but a certain degree of violence and unrelenting power is expected of all tribe members, a result of growing up on such a harsh world.
Average Intelligence
Despite their brutish appearances, the natural psionic abilities of the braxat have bestowed upon them a greater than average intelligence. More than one group of adventurers have been killed due to their underestimation of braxat capabilities.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Braxat possessed natural psionic abilities, allowing them to communicate telepathically with anyone within 1 mile of them, so long as the braxat knows they are there. These psionic abilites also allow braxat to maintain a barrier around them that enhances their already considerable natural armor.

Major Language Groups and Dialects
Braxat are raised speaking a form of Giant that bears striking similarity to standard giant. The reason for this is unknown.
Many braxat have also learned Wildspace Common, or at least enough to threaten outsiders before killing them.
History
The braxat native to Kadesh in Gardenspace began utilizing spelljammers in the late 12th century after reverse-engineering crashed vessels. However, their large size has made spacetravel difficult for extended periods, and so the braxat have seemed content spreading throughout their own crystal sphere.
Normally hostile to outsiders, braxat have become even more vigilent in the defense of Gardenspace in the years following the 1485 Battle of Gardenspace, fought between the Scro and Imperial Elven Navy at the tail end of the Second Unhuman War. The immense amount of wreckage left by the battle has drawn adventurers, pirates, and fortune seekers in great numbers, many of which have been killed by the braxat for their transgression.
