Thornbul Village
Demographics
Primarily occupied by the Whitecut mountain dwarf species. Has been mainly those of Clan Thornbul blood and their spouses, of which also include the Iceburk and Flintcoat bloodlines.

Run by Clan Thornbul, under the greater governance of the Whitecut Council that oversees all clans which reside on The Iron Teeth of Kuridir
Defences
The settlement is surrounded by 8ft wooden spiked barricades that have been left to rot and fall into disarray.
Industry & Trade
Mining is the only real trade from the village - specifically Copper, and in the past, Silver.
Infrastructure
An established mining infrastructure including tracks, cranes and pulleys. Most however are found in worn down condition. Clearly, a moderate mining operation was functioning in the past but only its shadow now remains, with only a fraction of its capacity being utilised.
History
Founded around the Whitethorn Mine after discovering Copper Ore then later Silver Ore. Played home to a "gold rush" for silver ore, which when discovered by it's founders they tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible. However, as word spread, many of the larger clans came to take their part of the resource deposits. After years of disputes and arguments a mediation was undertaken by the Whitecut Council,and it was agreed that Clan Thornbul had the sole rights and claim to it. With the clan lacking in enough suitable warriors or true defensive experience, that clan came to further arrangement that the mine would be placed under the protection of the Whitecut Council - a common practice - and would be run by the Clan Thornbul with a condition that it was open for other clans to operate within providing appropriate tax be paid per cart of goods extracted. The village prospered up until the Silverlight Mine Disaster">Silverlight Mine Disaster which led to the permanent blockage of the silver tunnels - leaving only the much less valuable copper ore accessible. With the combined death of many masters, skilled workers and experienced miners - along with the dwindling returns from it's copper - an ensuing exodus of many original inhabitants occurred that has now has left the village in dire a condition struggling for survival.
Geography
Nestled high up in the snow-covered The Iron Teeth of Kuridir mountains - the terrain is full of sheer drops and constantly changing winds. Water is accessed by a well that travels deep down to an aquifer within the mountain. Through years of effort, improvised but effective routes were established to village from both the valuable valuable trade ports in the east and the trade city of Hor Bror in the east. The area has a stunning but terrifying attraction that only the toughest could call home.
