Bronzeport
At the shore of the pirate city of Thaur is a very rough and very rich seaport known as Bronzeport. One of the cities founded by the Three Towers of Humanity, control of Thaur has changed often through Midgard's history. Once it was a small city with a well-built foundation, but as it grew organically it became a sprawling maze of well-guarded villas amongst shacks and stalls and hovels.
Despite the piracy, quite a bit of the trade that goes through Thaur is legitmate, if subject to dubious and stiff fees, taxes, and potential confiscation for unclear reasons. There is also a fair clip out outright illegal and immoral trade that, in this port, gets exactly the same treatment as the legal trade.
