SSC

Svirepyy's Screeching Corpses (SSC) are the producers that manufacture various lines of mecha from Telea. They specifically operate out of Svirepyy Roy, though Telean scientists and engineers from all across the World travel to Svirepyy Roy to give counsel, advice and a helping hand in the development of the SSC's mechs. The SSC was originally conceptualised during the Medved Scourge, as their foes were so dangerous that if the Teleans were to attack them with such archaic weapons the Teleans would surely know defeat. Thanks to their ingenuity, they were able to eliminate the Medved that threatened them. Since their victory and the discovery of the Wasps, SSC's combat capabilities have only grown.

Achievements

The greatest achievement of the Svirepyy's Screeching Corpses was their success in their war against the Medved Scourge. They constructed mechs (colloquially known as the Corpses) so that they would be able to effectively harm the Medved, as prior to the SSC the Teleans had only ever killed two of the Medved. However, once the SSC and the Corpses grew to prominence the death of a Medved no longer became a momentous occasion, but one that was commonplace. It took just under a century for the SSC to reach this point, and a further century until the Medved were no longer considered an active threat. The Medved Scourge would not officially be considered over until the Medved of Apidae were extinct, over a century later. The SSC's Corpses also indirectly encouraged the social justice movement in Telea that would see Drones afforded greater rights thanks to their military involvement.   In more recent years, the SSC have begun to experiment with teleportation technology, a new frontier in advanced sciences. Beginning with the Dusk Wing's Hall of Mirrors Protocol and eventually extending to the systems used by the Morning Cloak model, the SSC's teleportation devices are steadily driving scientists across the galaxy to experiment and expand upon this phenomenon. However, Telea has been keeping their understanding of teleportation close to their chest and all known attempts to replicate this technology have failed. It should be noted that many HORUS mechs implement teleportation as well, however they do not understand how these abilities work due to the nature of how their mechs are created.

Use of AI

The SSC have little reservation surrounding the use of Artificial Intelligence to heighten their combat abilities. Nowhere is this more apparent than the TLALOC Protocol, a mode in which a mech's weapons systems are temporarily commandeered by a TLALOC-Class AI so that they can be rapidly fired at an enemy without sacrificing accuracy. This speed cannot be matched by a pilot, and so only the most humble of pilots are found using the TLALOC Protocol. Like most advanced AI systems the TLALOC can malfunction if put under sufficient stress; however, pilots find (more often than not) that when this AI does undergo a malfunction they tend to continue carrying out the actions that the pilot was already in the process of completing.   Where TLALCO excels in heightening a mechs skill with ranged weaponry, ATHENA's Simulacrum gives their pilot a tactical leg up on their opponents that ensures a decisive victory. ATHENA-Class AIs come with enough processing power to scan and recreate a portion of any given combat arena for a pilot to purview. With this AI a pilot can gain information such as an enemy's position and arsenal, potentially nullifying the threat of cloaked or invisible enemies. Moreover, thanks to ATHENA's emphasis on tactical advantages, if an ATHENA unit malfunctions they are unlikely to act rashly or harm squadmates.
