Medved

The Bol’shoy Medved are the villains of Telean history, the titular foes of the Medved Scourge. They are said to be colossal, furry animals that strode across Telea on all four limbs. Their claws could tear through Hives as if they were paper and their great snouts have consumed countless Teleans and Telean resources. Medved were once known to have coats of brown, black, amber, blond and white, though now they are only found to have a white coat. Perhaps their most infamous atrocity was the destruction of the Megachilidae Hive, the event that spurned the Bees into militaristic action.
In the modern day, the vast majority of Medved variations are extinct. The Medved Scourge saw to the near total destruction of the Medved population with the exception of the Polynaryy Medved, Medved from the icy regions of Telea. It is not stated why the Teleans never exterminated these Medved as they did onto their cousins, though it can be assumed that the Teleans did not pursue these snowy beasts due to their own vulnerability to the cold or because these Medved did not threaten them. Perhaps it was both.
