Nurnites
Even the Nurnites' anatomy is shrouded in mystery. They are a four-limbed, bipedal species, and are believed to have a humanoid stature as shared by the majority of sapient species within The Ponitision System. Further, they are believed to be mammalian, as female Nurnites produce milk and there is no record of a Nurnite laying eggs. Nurnites also have a very weak immune system and are entirely reliant on their temperature suits to keep themselves safe from harm.
The suits themselves are extremely well designed, and are crafted with a level of care that often eludes the Nurnites. They are given to children at birth and are designed to be modular enough that the suit can essentially grow with a Nurnite. One could liken their suits to a spacefaring vessel; if damage is dealt to one area of the suit there are internal seals that will activate to ensure that any damage or infection does not spread to the rest of the body. The material of the suits protects from: harsh temperatures (both hot and cold), the vacuum of space, and radiation. There are stories of Nurnites sleeping in the midst of snow storms and waking up the next day with no lingering issues. Suits also have the equivalent of docking ports that can connect male and female suits for the purpose of mating. Many Nurnites go their entire lives without ever seeing their reflection.

Integrated Gear. Choose any item from the Miscellaneous Gear section of Lancer’s Core Book (pages 113-114 in Section 4). This gear is fully integrated into the pilot's temperature suit, and cannot be taken or removed from the pilot unless they undergo suit modification or serious harm is inflicted onto the pilot. Other gear can be implemented instead, whether it be from another Lancer source or an original design, at the GM's discretion.

Heat Mod
Heat Resistance. While Nurnites are known to resist cold temperatures, some specialise in areas of extreme heat. This modification grants Resistance to burn damage.Energy Mod
Energy Resistance. Mainly utilised by the Nurnites of New Atria, this modification allows users to resist nuclear radiation as well as granting Resistance to energy damage.Flight Mod
Jet Boost. These temperature suits have integrated flight systems, allowing pilots to fly when they move or Boost. Flying pilots must end their turn on the ground (or another surface) or begin falling.Sight Mod
Darkvision. The visor of a Nurnite's temperature suit gives the pilot the ability to see in the dark up to a Range of 10.Example Names
