Tamar

Tamar was a human soldier from Tumult. She was a veteran to many of the conflicts that plague the region before and during the Dormant Rise, having fought Dusker raiders in the West, undead in the Pinecone region, crusaders in the North, and demons at Dusk. Once the Dormant Advance was thwarted, shortly after King Bedrich took the throne, Tamar retired to spend time with her grandchildren. She left the Tumult military with much renown, but with a bad feeling in her stomach. For the next ten years, she would see her country grow more and more obsessed with war, and the undead hordes that Bedrich used to feed his war machine did not bode well in Tamar's spirit. Her family was still growing, and she did not want for them to live their lives under such necrotic influenced. So, she joined the anti-necrotic movement of Tumult. When protests proved ineffective, she decided to rely on her old skills. Ten years after her retirement, she went to Dakath to show the Peace Conference that not all Tumultians were enamored with war. When Bedrich declared war on the Sovereign People's of Neih, the nation credited to have stopped the Dormant Advance, she could no longer support Bedrich outright. She joined forces with the SPN, and fought in the last battle with king Bedrich, killing the necromancer. That battle was grueling, and left her mentally scarred.   She returned home to her retirement and her grandchildren victorious but damaged. She was not seen as a hero, having helped kill the king, but also was not seen as a villain. Those who agreed with her saw her deeds as a necessary evil, and those who disagreed saw her brokenness as just consequence. Thus, she escaped both persecution and fame, and lived out the rest of her days in relative peace. She did have a nasty anti-Whitcomb stance, but most ignored her ramblings to kill the missing prince.
