Neih's Breath

Neih's Breath is one of the three main entertainment troupes of the Veritian Leaf. There were a series of unrelated events that led to the creation of this troupe. First of all, the original members were heavily inspired by the works of the Neihite Bards of the Years of Expansion era who studied the fey and Summer spirits in the region around Fey Banquet. These works went out of fashion during the Sundering, but the Era of Kings saw interest renewed. Secondly, Summer Worship played a key role in the formation of the troupe, as without their worship, the troupe would not have received their oracle, a being called the Ruach. Nevertheless, it arose out of the Ten Thousand Lake region and spread from the border of the Church to the Dormant Lands.

Structure

The leader of the troupe is chosen by the Ruach, a diviner of long life. Otherwise, it is a meritocracy, where skill is valued the most. While the leader has the final say on things, a lot is delegated to smaller bands with much independence. It is also a private business, so profit is a key motivator.

Public Agenda

During the ruling of Tommy Drummer, their agenda was more militant, seeking revenge on the Duke of Oriaphia. But most the time entertainment is their business, and will go to where the coin is.
