Tommy Drummer

Tommy Drummer was the Neih's Breath entertainment troupe leader from from 1035 to 1040. She was killed by a group adventurers under the employ of the Guild of Rogues, the hit ordered as she killed a member of the guild.

She acquired a power from her time with Sal, though none were able to discover how. Like a red dragon, the gnome could breathe a cone of fire at her enemies. She prepared this for the Duke, but ended up only killing Judas Dharkness with it.

Motivation

To understand the motivations of Tommy Drummer, one must know her history.
Before she was the leader of Neih's Breath, Tommy was the student of the previous leader Salamander, a redscale dragonborn. Together, they travelled the leaf spreading cheer and merriment. Under Sal's guidance, Neih's Breath became the most beloved troupe on the Veritian Leaf despite the Happy Clapper's numbers and Heel and Laughter's stranglehold on the Church of Veritas regions. But this all ended when Sal made a wager with the Duke of Oriaphia, a malevolent archfey of the eastern fey wilds. The wager was that if he could make the fey laugh, he would get to meet the elusive King Sparrowman, the Shadar-Kai king, travelling through the Fey Entrance to another leaf. This could have opened a whole new market untapped by the lesser races of the Veritian Leaf. He bet his voice in the wager. When he lost, the Duke took a piece of him and he returned broken.
Years past as Tommy took care of Sal, his fire gone. He never recovered, and died of disease. Neih's Breath also lost much renown, though Tommy kept it going. It was obvious to the troupe when the Ruach chose Tommy as the next leader. She lead them well through the scandals and turmoil. But, in her heart, she longed for vengeance. Unbenounced to most, Neih's Breath was getting more and more militant. Her goal, to kill the Duke of Oriaphia.
She got the rights to run the circus during the celebrations of 1040 in Felicity, the proceedings to fund the eventual war on the fey. Many of the higher ups in Neih's Breath dislike this movement, but could not go against their leader. Luckily for them, fate was not for her fulfilling her plans. A group of adventurers attacked her during the circus, slew her and took all the funds they accrued. Neih's Breath returned back to their pre-Tommy ways after that, keeping away from the Eastern Fey Wilds. Yet, there are still a faction of Tommy followers who want the Duke dead.
