Loifin Stock (a.k.a. Laughing Stock)
Laughing Stock is the halfling leader of the Third Militia. He rose to prominence in the expulsion of the Mineosian Crusade from Third in the year 1038. He was captured and handed over to the crusade in the Battle for Dusk, but eventually escaped. He could not safely return to Tumult, so decided to go south to Evermore to aid in their liberation with the hopes to create a unified Summer Worshipping nation with Evermore, Third, and Amchester. He died in Evermore fighting the Dormant and Tumult army there.

Mental characteristics
Personal history
Laughing Stock was the class clown in his youth. Spending much of his time in the mines with the Ambershard dwarves, many though he would be one of the few halflings to join that profession, but he really was more interested in the blasting powder that Third had purchased from Silihadron. He knew it was once used for festivities by the fey and he wanted to follow a similar career in entertainment. He was pioneering this revival in halfling fireworks when the Second Mineosian crusade attacked.
No one expected Laughing Stock to lead the Third Militia, but when the clerical caste and the Tumult military did nothing to repel the invaders, he nearly had enough. But when a crusader attack on the Summer Temple killed his daughter, Laughing Stock changed. Laughing Stock began by working independently for a month, setting traps along the crusades supply routes. He quickly was enlisted into the militia, as he was a savant in guerilla tactics and explosives. He rarely faced the crusade head on, and his destroying supply lines may have riled up the crusade to a worse occupation. Laughing Stock played the long game, and by the end of the year, the crusade simply could not hold the city and continue their march into Tumult. They chose to go another route through Dusk, and the victorious Laughing Stock followed.
But victory did not follow him to Dusk. Though he was capable of severely crippling the Mineosian advance (especially with the hiring of Gojira to blow the Dusk bridge), he was ultimately rejected by the people's of Dusk who sought to be rid of demon threat more than resist the crusade's advance. He was captured and given to the Mineosians and transported to their camps in Devout.
No prison could hold Loifin for long. He escaped a couple months later, but saw the prospects of returning to Tumult difficult with the militarization going on there. He needed some support to return to Third, and thus flew South to Evermore to join the Evermore Resistance he heard of by Evermore refugees he met in the past. He was near the city when the Dormant control was broken, and used that opportunity to push the liberation of Evermore and his agenda to build a unified Summer Worshipping nation. But he knew he had three powerful enemies to fight to achieve this goal, the Dormant, Tumult, and the Church of Veritas.
In the Reclamation of Elias (the freeing of Evermore), Laughing Stock led a force to take the gate of the Evermore Cathedral. He had not needed to kill the Dormant general who held the city as a special forces team assassinated him via a different means, but Laughing Stock did engage in battle with the Tumult general who was besieging the city. They fought up to the bell tower of the Cathedral where, with the help of some allies, Laughing Stock trapped himself with Dormmamu under the bell where Loifin detonated all his explosives on hand killing them both.
