Fallen Eye of Truth

The Fallen Eye of Truth is an eye transplant that the Seraph of Fall gives to those he wishes to corrupt with despair. The item causes the holder to see all truths that direct to nihilism. Any aspect of truth that would bring hope or peace is tactfully ignored by the object.
On the Veritian Leaf, one of the five paracletes of Uz has the Fallen Eye of Truth, having taken it from King Iscalon the Fourth in a deal before his assassination. While the Paraclete of Uz was seen again in the Val'ul incident, she did not have the Eye on her for that attempt to kill Resentment.

Very rare, as they only arise during periods of Dormant on the cusp of the 10,000 years of Fall in the Neihite cycle. Also, it is a celestial item, thus it is only granted by the Seraph of Fall and cannot be reproduced otherwise. The item also degrades within one human lifetime, thus it cannot be stored.
