Eternal Empire Dreadnought
The Eternal Empire Dreadnought class warship serves a dual purpose. It is both a heavy weapons artillery ship and a command center. This is the most recent model of the Eternal Empire, using the new Neih Repulsions systems to fly. The downside is that it cannot land at all (it would not even crash), and needs smaller ships to ferry souls to and from it. It is shaped like a football with each corner carrying their weapons capabilities for broadsides or bombardments. Since the Neih Repulsion systems control the gravity on the ship, the central structure where the command center is floats on a body of water as to not to shake when they change which armament side being used. Each one of these command centers is different, often mirroring the sensibilities of their captain. They also have an intimidating size, though much of it is empty space needed for the Neih Repulsion. A division general would typically captain one of these Dreadnoughts and oversee three cruisers and nine destroyers.
Power Generation
Due to the Dreadnought's Neih repulsion system, they can not use the same biofuel as other ship models. Thus, the dreadnoughts use a combination of wind power and industrial batteries. While the ship could function on wind energy, for any real efficiency these batteries are necessary. These batteries are ships of their own able to fly between the dreadnought and their charging stations which tend to be on their motherships.
Propulsion
The dreadnought has three propulsion systems. If in a wind stream, they use a system of sails to move the dreadnought with the wind. The use of different sail combinations give it moderate mobility. The second option is the dreadnought tug, a ship that is launched from the tip of the dreadnought which can tug the vessel. This tugboat can always attach to other moving structures and latch the dreadnought in place. This is used more when there is no wind and little external threat to the ship. The third is maneuvering shelling which has the cannons already on the ship for offensives propel the ship with special ammunition. But if there is a major flaw with the dreadnought, it is that it cannot move as freely as other ships.
Weapons & Armament
The dreadnought has four weapons bays that stretch from front to back. These bays are equipped with heavy cannons, bombs, and mech units. Each of these bays has its own tram system to move around personal and armaments, and on off days can be transformed into a manufacturing plant. While the weapons decks are the most vulnerable parts of the ship, they make up for it with sheer firepower.
Armor and defense
The Dreadnought class' armor is unparalleled in the Eternal Empire, as it works in tangent with the Neih Repulsion. As Neih Repulsion is a gaseous substance, much of the ship is composed of air cells to hold this element (like a zeppelin). This gas is very dense, mitigating impact, making the thousands of layers of these cells a near impenetrable wall. To aid in this defense, each ship is armed with an army or spider like repair droids to repair the torn fabric and prevent too much leakage, which for most penetrations of the hull is not even necessary as the gas does not move unless pushed by a modicum of force. Thus, the main operations levels sit in the middle of the ship, surrounded by these layers of protection.
Communication Tools & Systems
As the dreadnought class is meant to lead a third of a division's fleet, they have a capable communication system. Radio is their main means of communicating with their troops, having an antenna array system in every gun hanger which connects to a war room in the center of the ship.
Hangars & docked vessels
Other than some escape pods, the tug boat, and the batterie ship, and a few cargo ships, a Dreadnought does not carry any air power. Destroyers and carriers can latch onto dreadnoughts, though they have to turn off their engines or the Neih Repulsion would push them away. The main vessel that they carry is the Eternal Empire Mech unit, terror units they drop after bombing raids to distract opposition.
