Verum Viscera

Verum viscera (lit. "true flesh" or "flesh of truth") is a hard translucent blue faceted crystal riven through with metallic golden filaments in runic patterns. Possessing many unusual and inexplicable properties, it is most commonly used by the Daughters of Verity and allies as melee weapons. The Metatrix and Seraphim of the Order wear fist-sized orbs of the crystal on the gorget of their battleplate as a badge of rank and a connection to Verity.

Utility

Primarily as melee weapons for Daughters of Verity, the Swords of Verity and selected others.

Access & Availability

Exclusively granted by Verity; normally only to the Daughters of Verity but to some other close allies.

Complexity

Defies all attempts at analysis.
