The Ophelia VII 'Dust Zone
Ophelia VII is the oldest Cardinal-World in the galaxy-spanning Imperium of Man, second in sanctity only to Holy-Terra itself. A world of mile-high cathedrals, linked by avenues lines with statues of thousands of Imperial Saints. Here, beneath the dizzying spires of the glittering towers, the Synod Ministra carries out its work and the Convent Sanctorum keeps its vigil. But although Ophelia VII is illuminated by the Emperor's light, not all her citizens enjoy wealth and comfort. The industrial workers have been crammed into a crowded ghetto by the encroachment of ever-more-magnificent palaces and temples. Forgotten, serving tirelessly but laboring in ignorance, they have been taken for granted by Ophelia VII's rulers. But now they are championed by the mysterious figure known as The Crystal Lady and her Adepta Sororitas followers.
While Ophelia VII is a canonical planet in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, this “world” is a collection of my fanon work for Ophelia VII, the 'Dust (Industrial) Zone, the Adepta Sororitas and, most especially, my homebrew Order of Sisters of Battle (the Daughters of Verity / Order of Our Crystal Lady), Danforth and Alicia Laertes and the history of the Ophidian Crusade.
