Session 26: I love the smell of Alchemist's Fire in the morning

General Summary

As we reach the shore, we see the werewolves. We fling Alchemist's Fire at them. Peace was never an option. The forest echoes with the cries of werewolves, the smell of sulfur, burning hair and flesh. Once again we ask ourselves: are we the baddies? Yes. Yes, we are the baddies.
The Wandering Apocalypse set out to Khazan's Tower in order to find the Werewolf Den close by. They found the tower quite easily, and found two carts outside. One a Vistani wagon, another a horse-draft cart as would be used in Vallaki and the likes. They decided to take a look at the tower first. After Fidchell getting zapped by its defense system, they quickly figured out the trick to opening the door to the Wizard's tower. It was interpretative dance, much to Andrius' delight. The deeper machinations of the elevator inside were a bit more difficult to figure out, but they eventually managed.
After rummaging through the tower for a bit, they returned down and decided to explore the wagon. After a sudden precognition of a massive fireball blasting them away, they at the last moment decide not to open up the wagon door marked as 'dangerous', and instead take the trapdoor they know is underneath. Inside of Ezmeralda's wagon was a ton of stuff they decided to borrow, as well as a rather unpleasant amount of Alchemist's Fire. This came in handy, as a werewolf band was waiting in ambush for them at the end of the causeway. They clashed, retreated and blocked the werewolves with a patch of Alchemist's Fire, before thinking up a plan to escape.
Turns out, this plan included a ton of wizard napalm. Using Tenser's Floating Disk, Vallthriel ran out in front while the others lobbed firebombs into the woods on the side the moment the Werewolves showed their faces. The somewhat sickly sweet smell of wizard napalm quickly mingled with the smell of smoke and burned fur, as yelps came from around them. The werewolves, realizing they were in a bit over their heads against a group that is willing to burn half a forest down to get away, quickly backed off to find easier prey. They had experience with destroying state property, and did not wish to be anywhere near.
The Wandering Apocalypse however was not quite done with the Werewolves yet, as they had a card that essentially condemns the poor beings as collateral damage. They followed the tracks to the other side of Lake Baratok and quickly found the werewolf den, shaped like a wolf's head. Odd how nature works like that sometimes. They snuck by the gate guard, who seemed preoccupied by something else, and took one of the two ways. When one of the guards came in to check following a sound, they quickly dealt with her before she could raise an alarm. The other guard however seemed to be gone from the post. Vallthriel led the way, made invisible by magic, but was sniffed out due to the rather pungent smell on her.
