Khazan's Tower

An old tower looms on an island in the middle of Lake Baratok, slowly crumbling to dust.

One of the men that Strahd von Zarovich employed was the archwizard Khazan. After he completed his work in building Ravenloft, he settled down in Barovia and build Khazan's Tower on an island in Lake Baratok. For years, he served here as advisor to Strahd von Zarovich, before age one day caught up with the mighty wizard. His remains still lie entombed in Ravenloft. His tower to this day still stands, guarded by his magic.
