Divine Being

Divine beings are a class of supernatural beings with divine (holy) energy, which enables divine powers (abilities capable of defying any natural law) and is inherently poisonous to demons and the Devil. Divine beings can be classified into three general categories:

  • Gods & deities - beings that derive their power from human worship
  • Offsprings of gods & deities - beings who are not worshipped by humans and derive their powers from their parents
  • Demi-gods - offsprings of divine beings and another species; their power is bestowed at birth and grow with age

General Characteristics

Divine beings are able to transverse freely across the different realms and worlds at will, transitioning between a spiritual body and a physical body as needed. Their powers are derived from human worship, directly in cases of gods/deities or indirectly in cases of those bestowed powers by gods/deities. The exact nature of a divine being’s power depends on how humans worship them, and the strength of said power depends on how many humans worship them. The greater the power, the more the divine being is able to affect the physical realm.

When a god/deity materializes in the physical realm, they are unable to weild the full extent of their power, no matter how weak their power is, because full manifestation of their powers will distort the physical realm beyond repair. Other non-worshipped divine beings may fully use their powers.
