The Five Seas

Life in the Great Ring depends on and is defined by their relationship with the waters that surround them now. There a five major seas that are known to the inhabitants of The Islands. To the north is the cold and dark Avannarleq Sea, which ends at the great wall of ice. In the east is the Brillante Sea, which is said to sparkle with an innate Magic that once emanated from the land of Sange. To the south is the Hema Sea, beyond which can be found the legendary lands of Trano and Āwherika. And in the west is the Nichibotsu Sea, the sunset sea where the Yanjin believe the spirits of the dead live. The fifth sea lies within the center of the Great Ring, and is known as The Middlesea, a wild place where strange islands and magics can be found.
