Ealdred
Prince of Bernicia
Prince Ealdred of Bernicia is the second eldest child of King Beornric the Shrewd and is currently serving as the ambassador to Deira. Since the sack of the capital, he has been on the move with the Deiran army, and is secretly funnelling intelligence to his sister Eadgith in Cait. Between the two of them, they are establishing connections inside the Albannach trying to reclaim Deira, setting up future diplomatic relations. They have done much to repair Bernicia's reputation in Deira, but not fully overcome the fact that their father originally sanctioned the invasion and overthrow by Eotwulf (as a way to prevent him from leading a rebellion inside Bernicia).
