Aoraki
The current leader of the Whenua-Mārama hapū of Tauranga and major advocate for the Kīngitanga movement. He behaves as a King of Tauranga already, and it seems likely that he will declare himself King of all the Tāngata if it seems that he will be able to enforce his decrees. At the moment, he is still attempting to persuade the other Tāngata through diplomatic channels, but many believe he is willing to use violence as well.
