The Scoprkin Uprising

20 years ago the gods of The Middle Realm were torn asunder, the seas boiled, the sky fell, and the very earth cracked beneath the might of the mighty World Eater Serphant. Just like the Great Darkness eons ago the world's status quo has been reset and no nation's position is guaranteed. Not even the mighty Stormcloak Mercenaries, who deal with a great rebellion in the jungle that borders their mighty cliffside keep.     Something has riled the barbarous Scorpkin into disobedience. What once started as a refusal to offer food and their young as tribute has evolved into outright war. Such an act is an affront to the dignity of order and The All-Father, Thor. The Stormcloaks came down hard on the Scorpkin, rebellious or otherwise, burning and sacking village, temple, and abode. Man, woman, child, all crushed beneath the hammer of Thor. The Master of this purgation was General Haskell Rafe and his Wolfhead Thanehold. General Haskell squeezed hard on the throat of the rebellion, and it seemed clear the various Hives of Scorpkin would capitulate or be exterminated within year's end. That was until the battle of Psu-Varlds Trad.     Psu-Varlds Trad is a colossal kapok tree that the Scorpkin consider their most holiest of sites. Its sacking was supposed to symbolize the death of the Scorpkin spirit, and General Haskell personally let a detachment of his Thanehold into glorious battle. They did not return. Wolfhead scouts were sent into the jungle to discover what happened. They did not return. Soon, once compliant villages rose up again and station squads failed to report in. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then the Wolfhead Thanehold has been withdrawn from the region, and the Thunderhawk Thanehold under General Lokin Fal-Truitt has been chosen to pick up.     If the Stormcloaks fail to contain the situation they risk losing control over the food rich Halstein jungle as well as losing credibility and respect, currencies that a mercenary organization cannot lose, especially with the growing competition posed by rivals. Either the rebellion will be crushed, or the Stormcloaks position will be.
