Domiel Road

The road beneath your feet is ancient, made in the early days of The Gratic Empire. Despite it's age, it is in remarkably good shape, being very flat with only the occasional pothole or loose stone. It's incredibly straight, stretching way out towards Dúrmi in the north and Gratic City in the south.

Architecture

The road was built out of local rocks of the area, with some of the road portions closer to Gratic City being built of Plainér Marble. The rocks were fused together with a concrete whose recipe remains a secret to this day, hoarded by the engineers who built it all those centuries ago.

History

The road was built in the days of Empress Entelia I, who had the road constructed to boost trade between the growing Empire and its neighbours to the north and south. It is said that the engineers who built the road infused it with Earth magic, which is why it's so strong, but modern scholars deny this.
