Vil'Saroth
Vil'Saroth is a garden city, a large town set upon a cliff overlooking a valley in Kur'Taloth, surrounded by groves and farming plots which cascade down the ancient walls. It is known for being an epicentre of all things green, a bastion of exotic plants. In the town of Vil'Saroth, one could find any herb, flower, seed or sapling they could wish.
The most prominent feature of the town is the Great Glasshouse, the largest conservatory in the kingdom, and home to the Royal Botanical Society.
Defences
Despite it's organic and agricultural purpose today, it began as a highly defensible fortress for a lord. It has one road in and out of the town, leaving the only other method of invasion to be through scaling the cliffs.
Industry & Trade
Aside from the Great Glasshouse, which represents a considerable amount of value itself, there are farms and greenhouses scattered throughout the city. In the city's marketplace, a bounty of rare herbs, spices and vegetables can be found. This is the primary purpose that travellers visit the town.
History
Originally requisitioned by a lord during the War of Ashes, the town began as a fortress/compound. In time, the lord was deposed and the fortress was claimed by the government of Kur'Taloth. By then, the location had fallen into a state of disrepair and become overgrown with vegetation. Those put in charge of renovating the outpost had realised it's horticultural potential and wished to make it the primary function of the town. This plan did not go over well, so in order to sell this idea, they began work on the Great Glasshouse.
By the time it was completed, the authorities had been so impressed with the monument that they obliged in their plan to capitalise on the stronghold's natural affinity for plantlife. Since then, it has become an agricultural marvel to growers, alchemists, priests and scholars of all kind.

Geography
It is not known if the original lord of the town had chosen the spot for such a thing, but it is seated in an area full of volcanic soil, rich with nutrients and extremely fertile. The dirt is perfect for growing all kinds of vegetation, and there is very little that will not grow in the soil.
Climate
Likewise, the town's location has turned out to be in an ecologically perfect spot, collecting the ideal amount of moisture and remaining at reasonable temperatures for most of the year, never dipping into extremes that are inhospitable for plant life.
