Breeker House

On the edge of Combe village sits a large stately wood and stone construction called Breeker House. Some parts of if might have originated as a fortress, but it has been the residence for many generations of the Breeker family. It's current occupant is Oswald Breeker, an old widower and the landlord to most of the farmers of Combe.

Purpose / Function

One wing of Breeker House is of strong stone construction and its balcony is crenelated, suggesting it was an ancient fortification, possibly linked to the collapsed watchtower on top of Bree Hill. But now and for may years it has served only as a personal residence.

Alterations

The Breekers have added to and altered the estate generation to generation and it now boasts many rooms and a large courtyard, as well as a substantial library. The fact of Breeker living all alone in this vast house has added to the rumors and stories that have grown up around him.
