Servant to Dragon and King
A twisted arthurian tale
Introduction
My tale is an old one. That much should be quite clear.
It is not, however, as it has been told.
There are kings, and dragons, and sorcerers. There is dark magyk and powerful magyk; the two of them not always separate. There is pain, joy. Loss, and heartbreak.
My tale is not simple. It is repetitive and full of paradox. Perhaps there is good reason for so many retellings, but I do not know what it is or could be. Instead, I have chosen to tell my tale as I know it. My own life and experiences. My own dragons. My own pain, loss, and heartbreak.
For in a memory as old as mine, there is a truth worth seeking; a light worth following. Perhaps in the candor of my tale, others will find the necessary inspiration to continue on toward their own light.
I have compiled much of Fable's information into a single volume, organized as best as I am able.
I would like to return to the repetitive nature of my past. There was a certain point of time that had been stuck in an endless loop.
This loop begins with Artwyn’s birth, and ends with his death. Each time he passes, the loop resets and I find myself back in my hometown. I never age. I never forget a past incarnation of the story. I, alone, remember.
Due to this loop, it will be slightly difficult to organize my thoughts. Events may seem to be out of order, or they may crop up later with minor changes. I would like to think that these repetitions are what caused your world’s renditions of my life, though they tend to differ only faintly from each other.
I am thriving for the cadence of this article. I can't wait to learn who is writing this!
Glad you like it!!
