Portal Below the Broken Tower

In the basement of the broken tower in Hazegate is a portal that belongs to the overworld network. The tower itself is an ancient ruin from back when there existed a Hippodean settlement where Hazegate stands now. The tower has long since crumbled, with major parts of it being collapsed. Because the structure is unstable, the residents of the city stay clear of it. In the main ground floor room, a large pile of rubble is stacked up, covering the western side of the room almost entirely up to the center. The ceiling of the room is collapsed, as well as a large part of the wall. By succeeding on a high perception or investigation check, a player may notice that there is something off with the pile of rubble in the room. The center of the pile is lowered in the middle, slightly like a creator, as if part of the rubble pile sits at a lower elevation. The party may remove the rubble, which reveals a staircase going down. The stairs lead to an underground chamber that contains the portal. The players are able to attune to the portal at this point.
