Ilis'jah

Ilis'jah is a hunter from the Vurse tribe from The Secluded Wilds. She has been raised in the dense jungle, learning all about its creatures and terrain. She is very skilled with the bow and spear, as well as very nimble on her feet. As a tabaxi hunter, she learned the value of a slow but unnoticed approach and taking your time to set up a hit.
Ilis'jah is very proud of her lineage and cares greatly about her clan. She is a bit of a straightforward person, seeing no problem in taking a more direct approach. Despite this, she favors ambushes and traps over direct engagements.
Ilis'jah is mainly dressed in various furs. She has some wooden plates fastened against her lower arms and legs that serve as makeshift armor. She carries with her a bow and spear as well as a hunting knife that is strapped around her waist. She has light brown fur. Her claws are slightly longer than normal tabaxi. Additionally, she has a slim but muscular physique.
The Vurse tribe is one of the tabaxi tribes that makes its home in the west part of the Secluded Wilds. They are not as close to Meydia as the Shi’to tribe, however, they do trade with them, and as such they posses some more advanced equipment and tools than the tribes to their east. The Vurse tribe is a talented hunter tribe, being able to track and kill the most ferocious beasts that appear in this region of the jungle. Due to this culture, they have multiple outposts set up around their territory where their hunters can rest up.
