Dunban Tarvis

Dunban Tarvis is the overseer of the Blue Path Mine. He is the only dwarf in the entire province, although that does not seem to bother him. Dunban hails from the Tungsten Highlands where he spent many years digging out tunnels as a constructor. The dwarf came to Meydia as a traveler, exploring the lands of the Argonian Empire. After having visited the Miner's Guild, he gives away some ancient dwarven tips; resulting in the guild asking him to join. Dunban accepted and not much later he was assigned as overseer of the Blue Path Mine. His job entails the safety and treatment of the miners, as well as meeting the quotas set by the guild. After a demon attacked the mine Dunban stayed behind in order to keep an eye out on the situation, making sure to update the guild whenever something of interest would happen. Dunban is a strong fellow with good leadership skills. 
Dunban knows how to delegate others and lives up to mistakes that happened under his supervision. It is this sense of duty that made him volunteer to hang around the mine. He is not soft-spoken, however, at times coming across as slightly brutish and demanding. The dwarf does, surprisingly, not have too much interest in liquor; believing it distracts from the job at hand. He says that he has seen good man parish in accidents involving booze a bit too often to have a taste for the stuff himself. Instead, his addiction of choice is hard work. He claims that this runs in his blood.
Dunban is a short fellow, however, he's actually pretty tall for a dwarf, standing at a height of 5.5 feet (1.67m). He has a long, full beard that is decorated with metal rings tying his hair together. His long, scruffy, brown hair also contains these rings. Dunban wears a set of thick worker's clothes that include gloves.
