The Armies of Greenwater Hold, Erynshold and the royal host clash into the besieging Melwyn forces, who had breached the inner walls of Highhalls just hours earlier.
After the battle raged on for another 2 days it ended in a loyalist victory, when the Melwyn King was killed by an arrow.

The siege is lifted and the victorious Varenian forces march on to defeat the last remnants of Melwyn resistance.
Aftermath
The Kingdom of Melwyn is annexed by the Kingdom of Varenia and King Vannon Alessia becomes supreme ruler of all Melwyn lands.
