Varenya
The Kingdom of Varenya was the most northern of the Ephian Kingdoms of Central Kovus, before they were united under King Vannon Alessia.
Varenya was ruled by the Alessia family, who went on to rule the Kingdom of Varnera and briefly the Kingdom of Maven after the dissolution of Varenya.
Varenya was comprised of the Earldoms of Kingsrest, Boda, Nortros, Werten and Suten, before integrating the Earldoms of the other Ephian Kingdoms during the Subjugation Wars.
At the hight of Varenian power the Kingdom encompassed xxx Earldoms and xx Duchies and reached from the Northern Ocean to the Manuti and Tovani rivers.
After the death of King Torryk Alessia the Kingdom was divided between his three sons.
King Melvon Alessia inherited the northern Kingdom of Varnera, King Irmi Alessia inherited the small eastern Kingdom of Maven and King Lyan Saryn, the son of King Torryks second wife Varra Saryn inherited the southern Kingdom of Ardyre.
Structure
The Kindom was divided into multiple duchies, which were divided into earldoms, which were divided into baronies, which ruled over villages and cities.
History
Varenya was one of the kingdoms hailing their rule from the great Kings Titus and Markus Eppen. In 849 under King Vannon Alessian The Kingdom of Varenya united Central Kovus by conquest. These conflicst are called the Subjugation Wars.
After King Vannon managed to conquer all the Ephian Kingdoms under Varenian rule, his empire quickly fell apart, when his son divided it between his three sons, splitting the Kingdom.
Disbandment
920 Varenya was renamed and reformed into Varnera, when King Torryk Alessia died and divided the Kingdom between his three sons Melvon, Irmi and Lyan, spliting the Kingdom in three.

Varenya was divided in the duchies of Kingsrest, Werten, Suten, Nortros, and Boda before the start of the subjugation wars.
