Starting with a research base on Mars, humans begin colonizing the Sol system.
After sending STL colony ships into the galaxy to begin colonizing different regions of space, it was decided to begin colonizing their home star system. It started by sending the first 5,000 settlers to begin the Mars Colony. Followed by Luna, and then spreading towards the outer edges of the system from there.
