Serra

Serra is a garden world orbiting one star in the Sigma Scorpii triple star system. The stars are very bright, and emit a lot of light which has helped with plant life.
The planet is slightly smaller, and less dense than Earth. This means that it has the total gravity is 0.8G.

History

Despite the fact that the Sigma Scorpii star system is 568 light years from Sol, the colony ship that arrived there inexplicably achieved speeds almost three times the speed of light. Because of this, the journey passed in just two centuries, establishing orbit around Serra in the late 24th Century old reckoning.
