Robots
Robots are made in various sizes and shapes, and they fill many roles. From repair bots on starships, to maintenance bots picking up trash and sweeping the parks, or even fully intelligent robots that are self aware, and have many of the same rights as any sentient. Robots tend to look robotic. They have metal bodies, and their eyes often light up like flashlights in low light, or dark environments. More advanced artificial beings called Androids also exist.
Robots vary in capabilities and most that are not fully intelligent tend to be designed for only one or two tasks. Some common examples are.
- Repair and maintenance bots
- Cleaning, especially in public spaces
- Household chores, such as a robotic butler, or maid
- Professional assistance
- Security of a specific building or area
- Interrogation bots
- Litigation bots
- Teachers or instructors
