Materium

The Material Realms, also known as the Materium, are the nexus where the philosophical and elemental forces that define the other planes collide in the jumbled existence of mortal life and mundane matter. It is the realm in which the world as we know it and the surrounding cosmos exist. The phrase 'Materium' is generally used by beings from other realms, plane-jumpers, and scholars of planetology to refer to the Material Realms. 'Reality' is a colloquial, more widely used term. The Material Realms are host to a number of gateways and methods of travel to other realms, particularly through Magical @Ley-lines spread throughout the Known World.
