Geld (a.k.a. Red fox, little fox (by the sailors))
Geld is the main character of the story Blood and Chains.
He is a young boy of 14 summers, going on 15, brown-skinned like all of his kind, with amber-coloured eyes and bright red hair.
Geld is of The People , a hunter-gatherer society that lives in what they call The Forest, which encompasses not only a densely forested region of Reidmar but also some mountains and the Arctic region to the North.
He is a kind and honest boy, and tries his best to be good. However, all his life he's had to deal with the fact that he's believed to be cursed by his kinsmen due to his hair which is red like Quarryblood stone, or Iron, which has left him somewhat prone to brooding on dark thoughts.
