Quarryblood stone, or Iron

Quarryblood stone is what The People call iron, for it is found in the blood of their quarry and they have most often seen it in iron-rich stones. The Reid on the other hand gladly use iron for making steel, making tools, weapons and armour out of it.

A grey metal that is rust-red when oxidised (rusted).

Physical & Chemical Properties

When someone from The People touches iron, it burns them. It will also poison them if ingested, and they become ill if spending time close to iron. Humans do not react in any special way.

Iron is found in iron seams in the mountains, and also in iron-rich rocks and ground.
