Kingdom of Ulwydd
The Kingdom of Ulwydd is a vassal realm within the Kingdom of Vosland, and the last remaining holdout of the Ulwyddisc people who once dominated the island of Ullarland. The Ulwyddisc tribesmen once erected great monuments to their pagan gods in the hopes of prosperity and protection. This did not avail them when the Iron Empire brought armies of Vettanic warriors to their shores. Most of the Ulwyddisc were killed or subjugated and assimilated into the invading colonisers. Some, however, retreated to their hillforts in the mountains, where they held out against the might of the Iron Empire for centuries. When the Empire fell, the greatest of their kings, Ceredig, aided the Vosch in asserting their independence, and swore fealty to their high king. Ever since, the kings of Ulwydd have been vassals of the high king of Vosland. Not all Ulwyddisc are content to be subject to Vosch rule, and some tribes still live in the wilderness, raiding and warring with the Vosch and the vassalised Ulwyddisc, worshipping their pagan gods and avoiding iron like death.
