Vettanic

The Vettanic peoples of the south are well known for their strong sense of hospitality, and belief in the importance of honesty and honourable conduct. The Jaeverans in particular hold honour sacred, with codes of chivalry binding their nobility - their renowned knights in particular - to act both bravely and mercifully while fighting for the will of the Unknown God. The Voslanders are famed for their poetry and heavy infantry, and their commoners and nobility alike believe strongly in the spirit of justice over precise legalism. The Vanaran tribesmen are perhaps the best navigators in the world, with their longships delivering them between islands and coastal strongholds on quests of trade, raiding, and ritualised vengeance.
