The Peaks

The Peaks is one of the constituent regions of the Oathed Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Lazanths and Ereen, on the continent of Vhurvia. It derives its name from the vast mountain range which rests in the center of the land, surrounded by the Black Forest and the Golden Plains. Administratively, it is ruled by House Hamheart of The Finger - following the events of the War of the Dawn, being previously ruled by House Rower. Most known for its large gold and iron deposits, this region plays a crucial role in the economy of the Kingdom.   Other noble houses in the region include houses Viridi, Blackleaf, Stumpel, and Lambfyre.   It is known for numerous workers guilds and its diligent population. The Peaks hosts many mining and trade ventures located in the central regions around the Sibling Mountains. Although much of its natural resources and wealth is located in the inland mountains, forests and fields, much of these riches are utilized in the eastern coast in blooming cities and harbors like The Finger and Grangeport. Another notable landmark of economic importance is the vast Goldroad which stems from The Finger and stretches through the Branch towards the Vinlands and eventually meets its tail's end in the city of Icegrove, located in Enkh.
